Membership Requirements

All Dog Members
  • Proof of up-to-date vaccinations uploaded to the member portal. Bordetella, distemper and rabies vaccines required.

  •  No history of attacking humans or other dogs (except for individual training)

  • Sign the PSFD Membership Application and Waiver in the Member Portal.

Additional Daycare & Boarding Requirements
  • Pass the PSFD Temperament Check Screening. For new dog members and existing dog members who have not attended PSFD for over a year. Please schedule an appointment in the Member Portal. Each screening takes about 10-15 minutes at PSFD.

  •  Be at least 4 months old

  •  Male dogs must be neutered once they are 1 year old

Daycare Package Requirement

Daycare discount packages all come with a weekly requirement based on the type of pass. Please see details in Rates & Packages. As long as it is requested prior to the 24 hour cancellation policy, we are happy to accomodate requests to switch days. Packages must be used within their expiration date.

Daycare Cancellation Policy

24 hour cancellation notice required to avoid being charged. If local schools are closed due to inclement weather, members will not be charged for not attending.

Boarding Cancellation Policy

Non-holiday Bookings

We understand plans change and sometimes trips are cut short or need to be extended. If you need to add time to your dog member's stay, we will do our best to accomodate based on availability. If you decide to cut your trip short and wish to check your dog member out early, then we require a 24 hour notice; otherwise you will be charged for the the full booking on the day of departure.

Holiday Bookings

There is a non-refundable $25 deposit per dog during all major holidays that will be collected upon time of reservation. Cancellations must be received no later than 10 days prior to your scheduled arrival day or you will be required to pay for any days that we are unable to fill. You are responsible for all dates reserved. We usually have a long waiting list and try our best to fill cancelled dates; however, the shorter the notice the more likely that waiting list members have already made other plans.

Training Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be received no later than 48 hours prior to your first class to receive a full refund (minus a $5 processing fee). After attending the first class, members may cancel the remainder of their classes in the course within 24 hours by contacting the owner at liz@progressiveschoolfordogs.com. Students who notify Liz within 24 hours after the first class will only be charged for the first class but will receive a prorated refund for the remaining classes.
